In partnership with developer Memory of God, Surprise Attack Games today officially announced The Stillness of the Wind, a quiet game of life and loss coming to PC and Mac via Steam and itch.io in 2018.

The follow up to the critically acclaimed Where the Goats Are, The Stillness of the Wind puts players in the shoes of Talma, an elderly goat farmer on a remote homestead.

It used to be a bustling village, but one by one everyone left. Everyone, except Talma.  Approaching her final years, she maintains a simple way of life tending to her homestead, surviving, subsisting, while increasingly disturbing letters arrive from her family in the city.

Develop your own personal routine as you care for your farm and your animals. Tend to your goats, make cheese with their milk, collect eggs and cook meals, grow vegetables and barter with the travelling merchant.

With minimalist visuals and a meditative soundtrack, The Stillness of the Wind finds beauty in the mundane and dignity in the face of inevitable, unavoidable change.
